Mailroom Clerk / Ingestion Specialist - This is NOT a remote position

We are seeking full time Mailroom Ingestion Specialist – Medical Records who will be is responsible for organizing and distributing mail among Clients. Their duties include receiving mail from a postal worker, checking a centralized digital mailbox, sorting mail by departments, uploading documents to the Reveleer’s SaaS platform and ensuring the PHI within each mail piece is properly relieved.
Our Mailroom Ingestion Specialist works Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The rate of pay for this position is $18.00/hr.
What You’ll Do:
- Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail
- Weigh mail to determine the correct postage
- Open mail addressed to the office and discard junk mail
- Use fax and scanning machines
- Meet or exceed individual production targets as defined by management (i.e., documents processed per day, records ingested into the platform, etc.)
- Identify opportunities to increase personal impact and drive superior client results
- Communicate with internal resources
- Special projects when asked
- Accurately post or transcribe data into the database
- Work overtime as required
- Support the Retrieval Operations Intake Team during down time or to support overflow as required
About You:
- Customer service experience
- Working well in high-pressured environments
- Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication
- Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office
- Type a minimum of 40 WPM
- Ability to work alone
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- High School diploma required
- Be able to read, write and speak English
