General Summary
Reveleer’s Technology organization is focused on building and managing our cloud native SaaS platform. We are looking for a Chief Architect to lead the overall architecture and technology development standards of all our engineering functions. Success in this role requires the ability to effectively communicate our overall technical strategy - ensuring understanding and broad adoption – while also inspiring excitement and action towards our technical goals. The Chief Architect will report to the CTO, and lead our Platform Architecture squad, the cross-functional team responsible for developing underlying frameworks and common services that will be adopted across our suite of applications.

Responsibilities:

• Inspire and motivate our agile squads to execute against our shared technical vision
• Build and manage our Platform Architecture team
• Establish the architecture and design standards aligned with modern technologies and ensure their compliance and adoption
• Define and manage a 2-year strategy for baselining our current suite of products and collaborate with other senior engineering leaders to establish a technology vision for integrating new products in the future
• Leverage modern tools to manage, share, and enhance standardized reference architectures, standards architecture diagrams, etc.
• Lead overall architectural governance as our platforms evolve, progressively managing risk while measuring broad impact and benefits
• Ensure tight alignment of future technical directions with Product Management and Engineering leadership
• Ensure a published and easily consumable reference architecture
• Manage the Architecture Review Board to ensure that all technology solutions meet architectural standards.
• Develop and maintain the platform technology roadmap, taking into consideration emerging technologies, customer needs, and business objectives.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies and tools for the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, and SaaSOps, to ensure that the platform architecture supports our business goals and objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, including mentoring and coaching.
• Work closely with our development teams to ensure that our systems are built with security in mind, and that security best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in modern programming languages, architectural patterns, infrastructure, security, and use this knowledge to drive innovation and growth in our systems

Qualifications: 

• 15+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems and applications, including architecture, design, development, and performance tuning/production troubleshooting.
• An outstanding ability to recognize, analyze, and synthesize complex information – clearly communicate insights in language, either technical or business oriented to audiences of varied expertise.
• Hands-on experience with architecting, building, and operating distributed large scale, high-volume software systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Motivated, autonomous, and responsible with a history of shaping and establishing technical vision and architecture within successful companies.
• Detail-oriented and curious – willing to delve into opensource frameworks and technologies to figure out how they work
• Effectively prioritizes time and can collaborate easily in any medium - email, Teams, phone, face-to-face etc.
• Great communication skills. Asking questions, listening, facilitating, and arbitrating discussions, and presenting complex ideas to groups large and small and any audience from a senior engineer to C-level executives.
• Strong expertise in micro-services, platform-level frameworks and services, agile software methodologies, cloud and data center infrastructure and applications.
• Self-starter and self-motivated with the proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Works effectively with cross-functional teams to build a trusted partnership.
• Healthcare experience is highly preferred
