Job Summary: Controller will report directly to the CFO and be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting function for Reveleer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable accounting standards, including ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Oversee and manage the audit process, including preparation of all audit deliverables and coordination with external auditors
- Manage and optimize the internal control environment, including the accounting close process, ensuring a timely close each month and quarter
- Oversee the company's stock based compensation accounting
- Support M&A activity and integration efforts, including due diligence and purchase accounting
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, investors, and external partners
- Lead and develop a high-performing accounting team and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 5+ years in a management role
- Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
- Strong technical accounting skills, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), and purchase accounting
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAGE Intacct or Netsuite required
- Experience with SaaS or Healthcare technology companies is a plus
- Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Able to work in the Los Angeles office up to 3 days a week
