We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Helpdesk Technician / Junior System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Microsoft ecosystem and a solid background in supporting users in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This role involves providing exceptional technical support to both on-site and remote users while also contributing to system administration tasks and IT infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for end-users across the organization, ensuring prompt issue resolution.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Azure AD, and other Microsoft tools and services.
- Assist with the administration of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS services.
- Perform user account management, group policies, and security administration.
- Support endpoint management through tools like Intune and other MDM platforms.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across a variety of devices including laptops (PC and Mac), desktops, and peripherals.
- Participate in IT projects, including onboarding/offboarding automation, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure IT service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Document technical processes and contribute to the IT knowledge base.
- Support disaster recovery, data backup, and business continuity initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Office 365, Azure AD, Intune, and Windows Server.
- Experience supporting cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure (required) and AWS (preferred).
- Expertise in user support across a hybrid environment (on-site and remote).
- Familiarity with IT service management tools such as FreshService or Jira Service Management.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Strong understanding of security best practices and user access management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare industry experience is a significant plus.
- Technical certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert
- Experience with security tools (EDR/XDR, VPNs) and compliance requirements in the healthcare industry.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent work experience with a proven track record may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years in a technical support or system administration role.
